Gemma is an Associate Solicitor and Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer at Family Law Partners. Gemma specialises in family law matters including separation, divorce, matrimonial finances, nuptial agreements, cohabitee disputes and private arrangements for children. Gemma has a particular interest in family matters with an international element including cross border and jurisdiction disputes.

Gemma trained as a Collaborative lawyer after she became disenchanted with the traditional – often ineffective, adversarial approach. Gemma believes that the Collaborative process is a better, kinder, client-led and solution focussed way of working.
Gemma joined FLP in March 2016 from a London boutique firm, prior to this she trained and qualified at a leading regional firm in the South East.
Immensely proud of her strong Sussex connections Gemma has lived most of her adult life in Brighton where she studied at Sussex University, obtaining a First in her LLB Law degree. Gemma went on to pass the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with distinction at the College of Law, London Bloomsbury.
In her spare time Gemma enjoys spending time with her family, running around after her son, dragging her English Bulldog on walks (that he often does not want to go on), and cooking.
